Every lot tested. Every shipment documented.
Manufacturers build our ingredients into products sold under their own names, so we treat documentation as part of the product. Each lot is identified, sampled and tested before it leaves Senegal.
What we test, per lot
- Microbiology: total plate count, yeast and mold, E. coli, Salmonella
- Heavy metals: lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury
- Pesticide residues
- Physical: moisture, particle size / mesh, color, foreign matter
Our process
- Harvest and sun-drying at origin in Senegal
- Cleaning, sorting, and cutting or milling
- Lot sampling and laboratory testing, issued as a Certificate of Analysis
- Packing in 25 kg export bags, labelled with lot number and dates
Wild grown, no pesticides
Baobab, kinkeliba, jambakatan, savanna mint and guiera grow wild in Senegal. Our moringa also comes from wild trees, picked by harvesters we work with directly. All of them are hand harvested, and wild plants are not farmed or sprayed. That is why these products carry our Wild Grown seals. We still test every lot for pesticide residues, so the Certificate of Analysis backs up the claim.
Traceability
Every bag carries a lot number that links to its COA and harvest region.
